About Gila Trails Info
Gila Back Country Horsemen are a group of people who love the Gila. We want this place to be treasured, respected and preserved. Having a well dispersed trail system coupled with trail information is what helps preserve our amazing Gila and maintains opportunities for solitude. Unmaintained trails become exponentially more expensive and labor intensive to maintain. Our goal is to preserve the historical trail system before it disappears.

Our mission: To enhance enjoyment and safety for all exploring the Gila National Forest
