Mimbres Valley Harvest Festival

The 16th Annual Mimbres Valley Harvest Festival welcomes you! Hosted on San Lorenzo Elementary School grounds, the festival celebrates the Mimbres Valley to bring our community together, encourage local agriculture through education and development of markets, showcase locally grown food and handmade products, and promote tourism to the Mimbres Valley, located in the southwest corner of New Mexico on the south/western edge of the Gila National Forest.
Activities:
• Farmers’ Market: Local growers sell fresh and preserved produce
• Arts & Crafts Vendors: Local artisans showcase their unique creations
• Pie Contest: The community’s best bakers show off their skills
• Solar Cook-Off: Solar chefs cook with the sun followed by a potluck for solar cookoff participants
• Children’s Activities: Games, hands-on activities like corn grinding, clay pot making, and more
• Free Health Fair: Free screenings for blood pressure, glucose level, pulse oximetry, flu shots and more
• Delicious Food: Local vendor specialties & San Lorenzo Elementary hosts their annual Enchilada Dinner
• Live Music: Local talent performs folk, country, blues, light rock, and gospel
• Raffle Prizes: Cords of firewood, stained glass, pottery, plane rides, gift certificates, and more
• DJ’s Farm Friesians: Friesian and Clydesdale horses presented for display and petting
